Our SIAM 6.1 software application, released in February 2007, runs on personal computers operating in the Windows XP^® environment.

Individual hardware configurations may vary depending upon the needs of each user and his or her peripheral software. As with any graphics-intensive software application, computers with fast processors, significant memory, and high resolution monitors are highly desirable.

Recommended minimum system requirements for PC-based host platforms include:

• Pentium^® IV 750MHz or higher processor (Pentium IV 1GHz recommended).
• Microsoft Windows^® XP Professional with Service Pack 1.
• 1 GB RAM (more is recommended for large models).
• Approximately 750MB of available hard disk space.
• Double-speed CD-ROM drive.
• Super VGA color monitor
• Video card capable of 256 colors (16-bit graphics, 65,536 colors or more is recommended)
• Microsoft mouse or compatible pointing device.
• Keyboard
• Internet connectivity (required for on-line registration after each installation).
• Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or later (required for on-line Help).
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or later (required for viewing on-line documentation).
